SSC Result 2026 Board Challenge: Re-Scrutiny, Re-Check & Reverification

Updated on: August 10, 2026 | Author: Education Board | Category: Board Challenge

The SSC Result 2026 has brought both excitement and disappointment for students across Bangladesh. If you believe your marks do not accurately reflect your performance, you can apply for the SSC Board Challenge 2026, officially known as re-scrutiny.

The re-scrutiny process allows students to request a review of their examination papers for possible marking, totaling, or clerical errors. For SSC 2026, the application process has moved completely online. Unlike previous years, students do not need to apply through SMS. Applications must be submitted through the official online re-scrutiny portal.

Why Should You Apply for SSC Re-Scrutiny?

Every year, many SSC candidates discover that their marks or grades are lower than they expected. If you believe there may have been an error in the evaluation or recording of your marks, applying for re-scrutiny can give you an opportunity to have those issues checked.

Correct Possible Errors

The re-scrutiny process checks for unmarked answers and errors in mark calculations.

Improve Your Grade or GPA

Even a small change in marks can sometimes affect your final grade or GPA.

Confirm Your Result

Re-scrutiny can provide reassurance that your published marks have been recorded correctly.

For example, a student who is only a few marks away from a higher grade may consider re-scrutiny worthwhile. However, students should remember that a re-scrutiny application does not guarantee that marks will increase. A result is changed only when an error is identified.
